We work with each individual company to create customized screening packages based on the needs of your organization. For most, we search criminal court records in the counties where an applicant has resided in the past seven to ten years, which is the standard for our industry. You may also supplement the background check with a variety of other searches depending on your industry regulations. The more searches that you conduct the bigger the picture of your applicant you will create.

  • Address information

Essential Screens works with your organization to help ensure you are running the correct searches to remain compliant in your industry. Because of this, we offer 100% customizable screening packages and a la carte options to help make sure you only pay for what you need.

When an employer reviews the background check report, they may take some of the following into consideration: How recent was the conviction? Has the candidate engaged in rehabilitation efforts? How many offenses has the candidate been convicted of? What are the facts or circumstances surrounding the offense? You should contact your prospective employer to discuss their process.
